TIER Symposium Outline

Tokyo Institute of Technology (Tokyo Tech) holds a symposium of "Cultivating Global Leaders through World-Class University Collaborations" on 17 January, 2013. This symposium is organized as a part of "Tokyo Institute of Technology International Education and Research (TIER) Program", which is the university's flagship initiative implemented in collaboration with its world class partner universities to cultivate global techno-scientific leaders.
Invited speakers from Tokyo Tech's partner universities in the U.S.A., Europe and Asia will introduce their leading programs on international collaborations. The discussion will focus on such issues as how the quality assured international programs could be implemented, how the framework of exchanges that are beneficial for both sides could be developed, and how the differences of educational system between the partner universities could be solved.
